About us
Story
It all started in Gonars, a small town in the province of Udine, where in the 70s and 80s there was an important footwear pole that had over 2000 employees out of just over 3000 inhabitants.
Many types of footwear were produced, including the Furlanes, which have always belonged to our culture. MIEZ, which in Friulian dialect means "half", was born with the aim of proposing the Furlanes of Gonars, produced thanks to the knowledge of the past that today are transmitted to the new generations.
How we do them
Our collections recover shapes and models of the past mixing them with new proposals of materials and processes. Our continuous research is aimed at recovering the origins of the product and developing it in a contemporary way, with special attention to comfort.
