Miez, a young company founded in Gonars, has deep roots. Alberto and Gloria, classmates and friends, reunited in 2022 with one ambition: to bring the best of their region to the world: Gonars, the beating heart of artisanal footwear.

Thus was born Miez, a Friulian name meaning "Middle," symbolizing the land in between, Friuli, a borderland with Central Europe and, thanks to its port, with the entire world. From here, the company seeks to absorb all the cultural influences and the reliability typical of this place, historically marked by difficult years and hard work: Craftsmanship, reliability, professionalism, and a vision beyond borders thus become the company's manifesto.

The Friulane di Miez, the fruit of a centuries-old tradition, embody the soul of Friuli because they are designed, developed, and handcrafted in Gonars, where this type of footwear has been produced for over 200 years. It has spanned centuries of history, certainly undergoing many changes but maintaining its artisanal and popular soul.
